When in 1790 Johann Wolfgang von Goethe hath visiteth Friedrich-Wilhelm-Grube to witnesse ye Steam Machine in ye labour of digging silver ore from ye womb of ye Earth, little did he knowe that meagre miles away and a mere two hundred and fifteen years later, savage Kurhan shall beginne to operate, and verily the audiophonic tapes “Szlam” (2009, Skeleton Plague Rec.) and “Cel” (2011, Demented Omen Of Masochism) were conceived, followede by a cruel live appearance abreast BLOODTHIRST and FURIA et al. and so ye maiden Compact Disc album “Głód” [“The Hunger”] releasede by ye almighty Arachnophobia Rec. in the Year of 2015.
„Głód” is 8 tracks of devastating, thick and yet elaborate black/death metal with a certain thrashy twist. The album was recorded at Czysciec Studio under a hearful ear of Nihil and with Ntr (of Furia / Massemord’s fame) on drums. For fans of SODOM, MARDUK and ANGELCORPSE.
This album was not meant to be a bang – it was meant to please to please the two guys that made it. At the beginning of 2014 Odraza has set the course of what was meant to happen and shown all the upcoming albums their place in the row – Maciej Mińczykowski / Thrashing Madness Radio Show.
After the critically acclaimed and sold out CD, Arachnophobia and Musica Noire Records are proud to present the last year’s revelation on vinyl. “Esperalem Tkane” is certainly the most widely commented debut and one of the best CDs in Polish metal A.D. 2014. Coming with a brand new layout created by Mentalporn, it will be available in two versions, both in sleeve and with a printed insert: transparent vinyl (including an A2 poster) – limited to 100 copies and standard black vinyl limited to 200 copies. It will be released on the 5th of March, 2015.
“Trauermärsche (and a tango upon the world’s grave)” is a truly unique piece: Heavy and disgusting. Abhorring and intriguing. Sick and enticing. The amazing mixture of sludge, doom, drone and black metal with a touch of saxophone and insane vocals. You’ve never heard anything like this before, and when it gets into your head – it’s there to stay. The record will be released as a classy six-panel digipack with a golden CD.
